Hospitality guests at this Saturday’s match against Alloa Athletic at MGM Timber Bayview Stadium will be in for a treat as they are joined by our guest of honour Davie Gorman.
Goalkeeper Davie is a long-standing favourite of East Fife supporters and is sure to be a big hit again at our first home game back in William Hill League 1.
Davie was part of the last East Fife team to play in the top tier of Scottish football, and over two spells he spent 12 years at Bayview as a player, as well as many more seasons after that as a coach. He’s right up there with the very best we have ever seen, with only four players having made more appearances for East Fife than Davie in the club’s entire history: Davie Clarke, Sammy Stewart, Phil Weir and Willie Finlay.
Hospitality guests will have the chance to meet Davie and to put questions to him in a Q&A session after lunch. Ever wanted to know what it feels like to go head-to-head with one of Scotland’s greatest players, Kenny Dalglish? Or to save a penalty against Rangers? Represent your country? Become one of Scottish football’s select few players to be awarded two testimonial matches? Or are you keen to know what it’s like to share a dressing room with players like Billy McPhee, Davie Clarke and Joe Hughes? Now is your chance to find out, if you come and join us!
Lunch itself will be provided for the first time by our new matchday hospitality partner Balgowan Fine Foods founded by Chris Hazelton, formerly of Peebles Hydro, Carnoustie’s Rookery and the prestigious St Andrew’s Links.
Places are still available and full details are available here or call 01333 426323.
