East Fife FC are delighted to welcome John Huskie back to Bayview as our Hospitality Guest of Honour for our match against Hamilton Academical on Saturday 22nd August.
A local boy who lived out his dreams at Bayview Park, John has plenty of memories and stories to share from his time in black and gold.
John turned down the opportunity to play full-time football in order to represent his local club and made his East Fife debut at just 17 years old – against local rivals Raith Rovers.
He would go on to line up alongside players he had previously watched from the terraces, including East Fife favourites Harry Kinnear and Billy McPhee, as he fulfilled his ambition of pulling on the famous black and gold.
Among the many memorable occasions during John’s time with the club was an epic New Year encounter against Hearts at Bayview Park.
