We’re thrilled to welcome fans’ favourite Willie Brown back to the MGM Timber Bayview Stadium this Saturday as our special guest in the Matchday Hospitality lounge for East Fife v Hamilton Academical!
Willie spent four memorable years at Bayview in the early 1990s, quickly establishing himself as a leader on the pitch and a hero on the terraces. Fierce, committed, and fearless, he made sure Bayview Park was a place visiting teams didn’t enjoy coming to!
But while he took no prisoners as a player, those who know him will tell you he’s one of the nicest guys you could meet – and he’s really looking forward to meeting old friends and new faces at Bayview this weekend.
🔥 Come along and ask Willie about:
🖊️ The famous graffiti outside old Bayview: “Willie Brown is God!”
🟥 Getting sent off for berating his own teammates
💔 Being named Man of the Match in the most heartbreaking game of his career
🧱 Climbing the pitchside fence to “take issue” with a supporter!
Lunch will be provided by our partners Balgowan Hospitality Solutions, founded by Chris Hazelton (formerly of Peebles Hydro, Carnoustie’s Rookery, and the prestigious St Andrews Links). Reviews this season have been five-star – you won’t be disappointed!
