East Fife Football Club can confirm that Jaiden Fairley has joined Crossgates Primrose on loan until January.
A graduate of the club’s Under-20s pathway and a lifelong East Fife supporter, Jaiden has made 12 first-team appearances since progressing into the senior squad.
The youngster marked another milestone in his development earlier this season when he scored his first senior goal for the club against Cove Rangers in August.
Jaiden will now make the temporary move to Crossgates Primrose, where the opportunity for regular first-team football will provide valuable experience as he continues his development.
As part of the arrangement, Jaiden will continue to train with the East Fife first-team squad one night per week, allowing the management team to closely monitor his progress throughout his loan spell.
“We've been really impressed with Jaiden's attitude in training and with his performances whenever he's been called upon in games. At this stage of his career, though, it's really important that he's playing regularly and getting as many competitive minutes as possible. We know he'll be well looked after at Crossgates and this is a great opportunity for him to go and play week in, week out. We're confident he'll come back to us a better player and ready to fight for his place in the squad come January.”
Ian Campbell, Assistant Manager
“I'm looking forward to getting the opportunity to play regularly and get more first-team minutes under my belt. I'll be working hard during my time at Crossgates and I'm looking forward to coming back to East Fife in January ready to fight for my place in the team.”
Jaiden Fairley
Everyone at East Fife wishes Jaiden all the best during his time with Crossgates Primrose and looks forward to welcoming him back to Bayview in January.
