East Fife Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Liam Walker from Heart of Midlothian as part of the co-operation agreement between the two clubs.
The 17-year-old left-sided midfielder, who can also operate in defence, becomes the latest young Hearts player to make the move to Bayview as part of the partnership.
Liam has been with Hearts since the age of eight, progressing through the academy ranks during his time at Tynecastle. His performances at youth level have also earned him international recognition, having represented Scotland across multiple age groups.
“Liam is a player we've been interested in for a while. We had to be patient and wait for him to recover from a minor injury, but we're really pleased to finally get him in. He's a talented young player who can give us options on the left-hand side, both in midfield and defensively. We're really pleased to add him to the squad and we're looking forward to working with him.”
Liam is available for selection for this weekend’s match against Ross County.
Everyone at East Fife would like to welcome Liam to Bayview and wish him every success during his time in black and gold.
