The Story So Far
East Fife turn their attention to KDM Evolution Trophy action on Tuesday evening as Spartans make the journey to Bayview Stadium.
The Fifers have enjoyed an encouraging start to the season, with Dick Campbell’s side showing plenty of resilience and attacking intent across both league and cup competitions. Tonight’s tie presents another opportunity to maintain that momentum and get off to a winning start in matchday 1 of the KDM Evolution Trophy.
The Opposition
Spartans arrive in Methil looking to cause an upset and continue their own positive start to the season.
Under the guidance of Dougie Samuel, the Edinburgh outfit have earned a reputation for their organisation, work rate and discipline. Their rise through the Scottish football pyramid has been built on consistency, and they will be hoping those qualities can help them overcome another stern test on Tuesday night.

Oladipo will be a familiar face to East Fife fans having spent the second half of season at Bayview.
Oladipo scored on his debut for Cove in a 3-2 victory over East Kilbride on the opening day of the Premier Sport Cup last month.

The former Scotland international has two goals to his name already this season, having netted a double in Spartans 4-2 comeback win against Annan Athletic on the opening day of the League 2 season. With over 500 career appearances to his name, McNulty’s experiences could be a key factor in deciding the fixture.
