East Fife Football Club is delighted to announce that goalkeeper Matty Rollo has signed a one-year contract extension, committing his future to Bayview until the summer of 2027.
The 20-year-old was promoted from the Under-20s squad in May 2023 and spent last season on loan with Crossgates Primrose, where he enjoyed an impressive campaign. His standout performances between the sticks saw him pick up the Players’ Player of the Year award, underlining the impact he made during his time at Humbug Park.
Matty returned to Bayview in the summer and made his competitive debut for the club earlier this season in the Premier Sports Cup against Livingston.
“Matty is a young goalkeeper with a lot of potential, and we’re really pleased to get him tied down on a longer deal. He’s already shown his ability during his loan spell at Crossgates and in his debut earlier this season. If he keeps working hard, there’s no doubt he has a bright future here at East Fife.”
Everyone at East Fife congratulates Matty on his new deal and looks forward to seeing him continue his development in black and gold.
