Midfielder Kieran Millar has been named the William Hill League 1 Player of the Month for October.
The recognition caps off an impressive month for both the player and the team, with the Fifers taking two wins and a draw from three league fixtures, as well as victory over Celtic B in the KDM Trophy.
Millar has been at the heart of that run – quite literally.
While he doesn’t always grab the headlines, the midfielder’s work rate and intelligence on and off the ball has been at the core of our consistency so far this season. Last month, he also contributed in front of goal, scoring the opening goal in the victories over Cove Rangers and Kelty Hearts, setting the tone for both performances.
Often described as one of the squad’s “unsung heroes” by supporters, Kieran continues to quietly set the standard in the middle of the park, and this award is a fitting acknowledgement of the levels he has reached in recent weeks.
Congratulations, Kieran – fully deserved.
