Born and raised in the Methil area, Robert Cargill has been a lifelong supporter of East Fife, with his passion for the club sparked during his days at Aberhill Primary School, right next door to the old Bayview. He is a company director at Mr Mechanic (Motor Factors) in Buckhaven and has deep roots in the local football community.

Robert’s involvement with East Fife began in the early 2000s through coaching with the Young Fifers, now East Fife Community Football Club, later becoming Chairman of the Young Fifers. His commitment to youth football extended to roles with CEFSSA (Central and East Fife Soccer Sevens Association) and as a founding committee member of the Fife Football Development League (FFDL) in 2003. When East Fife launched their Pro Youth programme, Robert played a key role in its development and served as the club’s Head of Youth Development.
