East Fife Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Tom Milne from St Andrews United for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old defender has signed a one-year contract at Bayview after impressing the management team throughout pre-season.
Tom joined St Andrews United in January 2022 and has continued his development over the past four-and-a-half years, earning the opportunity to step up to the SPFL after training with East Fife during pre-season.
“A number of managers contacted me recommending Tom, which always catches your attention. We invited him in for pre-season and we've been really impressed with what we've seen. He's settled into the group straight away and integrated really well with the players. He's worked hard every session, shown a great attitude and has earned this opportunity. We're delighted to welcome him to the club and we're looking forward to helping him continue his development.”
“I'm delighted to get everything sorted and I'm really looking forward to representing the club. It's a strong squad, so I'm ready to work hard, earn my place in the team and hopefully help us have a successful season.”
Training continues this week as East Fife prepare for their opening Premier Sports Cup fixture against Inverness Caledonian Thistle next Saturday.
The club would also like to place on record its thanks to everyone at St Andrews United for their assistance in helping to finalise the transfer.
Everyone at East Fife would like to welcome Tom to Bayview and wish him every success in black and gold.
