Tyrell Skeen-Hamilton Signs for East Fife

East Fife Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Tyrell Skeen-Hamilton, who has joined the club on a one-year contract.

The 26-year-old forward arrives at Bayview following his spell with Chasetown FC, who compete in the Northern Premier League Division One.

Tyrell came through the youth ranks at Birmingham City before gaining valuable experience in the English non-league game.

The move has been several months in the making after East Fife attempted to sign Tyrell during the January transfer window. However, the deal was unable to be completed before the deadline after international clearance was not received in time.

Having remained in contact with the management team, Tyrell returned to train with the squad over the past couple of weeks and featured in last weekend’s closed-door friendly against Civil Service Strollers.

“We wanted to sign Tyrell back in January, but unfortunately the move got caught up in red tape with the international clearance. We're delighted to finally get the deal over the line. He's got good experience, plenty of attributes that we like and he's settled in well since coming back in to train with us. We're looking forward to seeing what he can bring to the squad.”

“I was disappointed when we couldn't get the deal done in January, but I've kept in touch with the management team ever since. I'm delighted everything has now been sorted. The lads have been brilliant since I came back in, and I can't wait to get started properly and show the supporters what I can do.”

Following the receipt of his international clearance, Tyrell is available for selection for tomorrow’s Premier Sports Cup match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Everyone at East Fife would like to welcome Ty to Bayview and wish him every success in black and gold.
