East Fife Football Club is delighted to announce the return of Ewan McLeod, who joins the club on a season-long loan from Dunfermline Athletic, subject to SFA approval.
The 20-year-old returns to Bayview after making a strong impression during his loan spell with the club last season.
Ewan made 16 appearances in black and gold during the first half of the campaign, quickly catching the eye with his assured performances and attacking intent. Unfortunately, his time at Bayview was cut short by injury, which kept him out of action before he returned to his parent club to continue his rehabilitation.
Having returned to fitness, Ewan committed his future to Dunfermline Athletic earlier this summer by signing a new two-year contract at East End Park and will now continue his development with East Fife over the course of the 2026/27 season.
“We're delighted to bring Ewan back to the club. He made a big impression during his spell with us last season and we were disappointed for him when the injury brought his time here to an early end. We know exactly what he can bring to the team. He's a talented young player with plenty of energy and we're excited to see what he can do for us again this season. He knows the club, the staff and the majority of the boys already, so we're really pleased to have him back.”
