East Fife vs Alloa Athletic – Preview by Oli Anderson
📍 MGM Timber Bayview Stadium, Methil
🗓️ Saturday 9th August | Kick-off: 3:00pm
⚔️ The Challenge Ahead
A poor start to the league season last week sees East Fife on the back foot heading into today’s clash with Alloa Athletic. Despite going ahead at the Balmoor Stadium last weekend, three goals in quick succession saw Peterhead run away with the contest.
Today’s opposition Alloa Athletic have started the season in fine form and are currently on a five-game winning streak, having topped their League Cup Group, as well as starting their league season with a victory over Stenhousemuir. They will look to make it six on the bounce, while the Fifers are hoping for their first league points back in the third tier.
