A huge thank you to Ray Charles, who joined us as our Hospitality Guest of Honour for Saturday’s match against Montrose.

Ray entertained our guests with stories and memories from his seven years as East Fife’s No.1, a spell which saw him make almost 250 appearances for the club.

From memorable Scottish Cup encounters and international recognition with the Scotland Semi-Professional XI to the day he famously found the net himself from a goal-kick, there was no shortage of tales from Ray’s time between the sticks in black and gold.

It was also great to welcome Dave Larter, another goalkeeping great with strong Montrose connections, who joined Ray at Bayview for the afternoon.

Our thanks to Ray for returning to Bayview, sharing his memories and helping make it another enjoyable afternoon in hospitality.
